Richard visits the Eden Project in Cornwall in the UK. It has been developed on a piece of countryside and is made up of several ‘biomes’. The ‘biomes’ are the white, round shaped structures shown in the photograph.
Inside each biome is an ecosystem from a different part of the world; for example, a tropical rain forest. The plants, insects and animals that form the ecosystem are all carefully managed and studied by different types of scientist.
